Rimma Bartov
VISUAL ARTIST
Ceramic Sculpture & Pottery | Printmaking | Painting | Drawing | Installations
I am fascinated by psychology and human behaviour. Naturally, human
figure, body language, emotion and movement are sources of my work.
Clay, with its plasticity has a great expressive quality. It is my
preferred medium. Drawing, especially live drawing helps in
aggregation of information and analysis, but is also a way of
expression through line and tone. I have studied printmaking and use it
on ceramic surfaces. Painting is important for me too. Colour and line
full of incessant possibilities of expression. I enjoy abstract painting
which gives liberty to play with colour and composition.
